Josiah Wolf
Yoni’s older brother has taken some time with his debut. In 2006 he began secretly practicing on guitar and taking vocal lesons. The lyrics came, and the music to. In November of 2008, he settled into a cottage in the woods outside of Cincinnati, ditched the click track and recorded his songs raw. All that lush instrumentation – drums, bass, organ, piano, bells, marimba, vibes, shakers, etc. – came later, recorded to the music’s naturally elastic tempo. The album Jet Lag came out this year and during the current Why? world tour, Josiah will present it to the audience.
