Chris Kann’s technology fetish brought him to spend late nights with Game Boys in 2003. Taking the relationship further he learned NES programming and developed the first MIDI interface for this platform. Midines became the key tool used worldwide by electronic music producers wishing to incorporate the NES into their acid, breaks and drum-&-bass tracks. Chris also supports the burgeoning open source hardware scene, and is currently working on the worlds first open source drum machine and sampler the MACH-01.
